Project Introduction:
The public health crisis has significantly impacted the film and theater industry, resulting in the closure of many traditional venues. This shift has led to the exploration of virtual spaces as an alternative. To address this, we aim to bridge the gap between virtual and real spaces, offering audiences a more interactive and engaging drama experience in response to the evolving landscape of entertainment.
Audience members can immerse themselves in a dual-drama experience in both virtual and real spaces, actively participating in the narrative.
In the live performance, participants wearing VR equipment can seamlessly switch between virtual and realistic views. They have the option to observe actors performing in the physical space or engage with the virtual drama through VR devices. The juxtaposition of the two storylines encourages participants to make judgments and choices, actively becoming part of the unfolding narrative. This transformation of the participant's identity serves as both a direct experiencer and a contributor to the drama witnessed by the rest of the audience.
